CVIC Operations Coordinator

Teneishae Coleman serves as the CVIC Operations Coordinator at Hyphen. Prior to joining the Hyphen team, Teneishae was the Inner-City Muslim Action Network’s Green ReEntry director, a program which provides transitional housing, life skills education, and sustainable construction training for returning citizens and high-risk youth.  With over 15 years in the nonprofit sector,  she brings a wealth of experience in community street outreach, violence intervention, reentry services, and construction trade programming. Teneishae’s community-level work has been shaped by her leadership as well as her financial acumen and data expertise.  

 

Teneishae’s education and training is rooted in the business sector, with a focus on accounting and business management.  As part of her doctoral program, Teneishae conducted research on cybersecurity for small accounting firms through Capella University. Teneishae has provided accounting services to small businesses and nonprofits as a consultant, with the goal of increasing financial literacy in underserved communities.
