American Rescue Plan (ARP) Implementation

The Biden-Harris administration took office committing to containing COVID-19, reducing child poverty, supporting an equitable economic recovery and rebuilding, and addressing racial inequities. The $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan (ARP) is central to advancing these goals, delivering immediate relief for American workers, and addressing longstanding structural inequities that have been exacerbated by the  pandemic.

Philanthropy is poised to maximize the impact of this landmark legislation through strategic grantmaking, coordination of efforts, and collaboration with one another. To inform their investments and engagement with the administration, Hyphen is working with funders to understand what is being funded, what collaborations are already in place, where gaps exist, and where there are opportunities for further coordination and collaboration with one another and with the administration.
